Rocky Mountain National Park is a 45-60 minute drive from Boulder. Lots of hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park. We recommend the Lumpy Ridge Loop. Hiking up Flattop mountain from Bear Lake and driving up to the alpine visitor center above 11,000 ft.
