One of the most popular beaches - and so usually busy - but there is a bar on the beach and lots of shops in Perranporth
Nice walk around the village (3 miles or so ) through woodland with good views of the old mine buildings at East Weal Rose. From the cabin, go up the hill and take your first left. Follow the road and after half a mile of so, you come to the entrance to the woods. After the woods, take the right fork and at the top of the hill, turn right back towards the village.
Metha Wood
