The house sleeps 8 people in king, queen, double and 2 single beds with room for an additional 2 on sofa beds at an additional charge per head. The village plays host to a wealth of locally run amenities with a small shop, petrol station, cafes and a classic pub for a meal with locally brewed ale.

The Old Map Shop

The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.
